Ryan Edward Hayford, passed away at age 43 on Sunday, March 15, 2026. Loving Son of Joyce (Hall) Hayford and the late Robert Hayford. Beloved Brother of Debra (Doug) Shaut of WA., Russell (Lindee) Gough of WA., Melissa (Dan) Pail of Pittsburgh, Robert Hayford of MT and the late Kristal DeKorte. Survived also by many nieces and nephews.
Ryan will be remembered for his kind gentle spirit. Touching the lives of many. After a long battle with chronic illness, he has gone to god, he will be greatly missed.
Ryan was a loving supportive soul. He could easily become the life of the party. He was the hip uncle to his nieces and nephews. Dancing, singing and just being silly, and don’t forget his one hundred pairs of glasses!!
He enjoyed making fancy cupcakes for coworkers. Grilling a good steak and trying new recipes, entertaining family, friends and visiting guests. T-bones Bakery will surely miss him, he would get so excited about getting the birthday person their special birthday cake.
While working with the Gates foundation, he had the experience of traveling to far off places like Africa, Spain and the UK. He’s lived in Washington, Oregon, California and lastly in Pittsburgh. He came to Pittsburgh to help with family. He worked at AHN at the North Fayette Cancer Center, where he grew close to the patients. In his time there, he and many patients became close, some even had making him gifts.
May you rest in peace and rest easy. We love you, RyRy.
