Rita Lynn (Rossen) Bernardi

Rita Lynn Bernardi (Rossen), age 65, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born to the late William Rossen and Grace Hogan, Rita was a devoted daughter, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished sister.

She carried a strength and resilience that inspired everyone who knew her, facing life's challenges with determination, grace, and an unwavering love for her family.

Rita is survived by her significant other, Ted Kiger. She was the devoted mother of Christine (Johnny) Bernardi, Tracy (James) Clarke, Dawn Bernardi, Kenneth (Beth) Bernardi, and Steve (Brittany) Bernardi. She was also a caring stepmother to TJ (Sabrina) Kiger and Ryan Kiger.

Rita's greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense pride and happiness to her life. She is also survived by her siblings, William Rosen and Barbara Rossen.

Family will receive visitors Sunday 3-7PM and Monday 3-7PM at O’Brien’s Funeral Home 3724 California Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15212. Interment and Blessing Service will be in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery Tuesday, 10AM.
