Richard “Dick” B. Jackson Jr. age 79, of Pittsburgh passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025. Son of the late Richard B. and Annamarie (Miller) Jackson Sr. Beloved Husband of the late Helen (Pierce) Jackson. Loving Father of Richard B. (Melissa) Jackson III and Amy L. (Tom) Jackson. Step-Father of Scott L. Lennex, Tracy A. Lennex and Cindy Lennex. Grandfather of Richele, Emily, Haley and the late Laryssa. Preceded in death by two step grandchildren. Brother of Claudette (Robert) Koch, Annette (the late John) Stocking and the late Janet (the late James) Veraldi. Brother in law of Ethel (the late Don) Smith and Larry Pierce. Survived also by many nieces, nephews, and step great grandchildren.
Dick worked as a warehouse manager with H.J. Heinz Company for many years, he then transitioned to Equipco where he was a transportation coordinator. One of his many hobbies was working on model railroads, he was a longtime member of the Ohio Valley Lines Model Railroad Club in Ambridge.
Family will receive visitors Tuesday, December 16, 2025 from 2-7 PM at O’Brien’s, 3724 California Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests making donations to Ohio Valley Lines Model Railroad, 1225 Merchant Street, Ambridge, PA 15003.
