Patrick Alan Nock, 71, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 2, 2026.
Patrick was born on March 18, 1954, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Rita Marie O’Neill and Bruce Rose. He grew up in Pittsburgh and graduated from Hampton High School before going on to serve his country faithfully in the United States Air Force.
After his military service, Patrick worked for many years as an electrician. Throughout his career he took pride in the work he did, including contributing to the expansion of Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas, a project he was especially proud to have been part of.
Patrick was a devout Catholic whose faith remained an important part of his life.
Patrick was previously married to Reba Sexson. He is survived by his children, Alan and Melissa; his grandchild, Avery; his sister, Lynn; and his niece, April.
Patrick loved the outdoors and spent much of his time hunting and fishing. Known for his stubborn determination and independent spirit, he was an ornery old goat who never let anyone tell him no. Beneath that toughness, however, was a man who cared deeply for his family and always tried to provide for them in any way he could.
Funeral arrangements are currently being finalized. A service with military honors in recognition of Patrick’s service in the United States Air Force will be announced once details are confirmed.
“The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.”
