Age 86, Pat peacefully passed Saturday, February 1st at the Little Sisters of the Poor. Daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Jouver, and later, step-daughter to Mary. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry. She was Born November 17, 1938. Sister of Michael (Gloria) Jouver, sister-in-law of Bishop William Winter, Jim and Marlene Winter, and Regina (Jeanie, late husband Kenneth) Betsch. Mother of Larry (Chris), Mike (the late Donna), Paul (Julie), Mark (Lisa), and Patrick (Michelle) Winter. Loving Grandmother of eleven Grandchildren; Katie, Bill, Paul, Adam, Hannah, Nolan, Nick, Jaimie, Rowan, Ryan, and Julianna. Beloved Great Grandmother of nine: Colton, Jackson, Lily, Landon, Caiden, Liam, Parker, Brody and Sienna. She was an aunt to a niece and three nephews. She was a devoted wife and mother. Pat (or Patsy as her siblings and cousins called her) made her career as a homemaker, but she did occasionally work in retail with her first job being at Gimbels downtown where she lied about her age to qualify for a clerk position. She later resided in Pleasant Hills for over thirty years and Finleyville for thirteen years. She enjoyed watching her sons at Carrick Little League baseball games and was a fixture either in the concession stand or yelling from the first base bleachers. She enjoyed spending time at Moraine Family Campground with her late husband Larry and other family members, but what she most enjoyed was having her family together as it was her favorite days when “all five of my boys are here!” Pat was devoted to her Catholic faith and spent the last years of her life living at The Little Sister of the Poor. At the end of her life she was lovingly cared for by the sisters there. Family will receive visitors Tuesday, February 4, 8:30-10:30 AM at Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15212. There will be a Funeral Mass on site at 10:30 AM in the chapel. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the Little Sisters of the Poor.
