Nancy Lynn Dugan, 62, passed away unexpectedly at home. She was a lifelong resident of Brighton Heights, within the city of Pittsburgh. Nancy was born to James & Anceda as the fifth of seven children. After seeing Nancy for the first time after birth, her father commented that "she's the most beautiful baby I've ever seen!"
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, James Regis, and her mother, Anceda Theresa (Miller), and is survived by her brothers & sisters: Thomas, Colleen Billings, John (Julie), James (Denise), David (Marianne), & Amy (Curtis) Abma. Also, many special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Nancy had a love for basketball, starting with playing at St. Cyril's, then at North Catholic HS, then on to college in MO & TX. Her hard work culminated in her being inducted into the 2024 class of the Pittsburgh Basketball Club Hall of Fame.
Kindly make donations in Nancy's memory to your local pet shelter.
