Age 43, unexpectedly on Friday, August 20, 2021 in Merriam, Kansas. Beloved son of Virginia L. (Larson) Watland-Sheaffer (fiancé James Demus) and the late William G. Watland. Stepson of the late John E. Sheaffer. Loving father of Lyssa M. Watland, Kelsey L. Watland and Avery J. Watland. Grandfather of Javier F. Lopez and Aspyn S. Lopez. Brother of Matthew W. (Megan) Watland of OH and Jesse E. Watland of CA. Stepbrother of Rebecca Sheaffer of Apollo, PA and Barbara Sheaffer of FL. Survived also by nieces and nephews. Family will receive visitors Friday, 1-3PM at O’Brien’s 3724 California at Cooper Aves., where there will be prayers at 3PM.
