It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Mary Ann Halligan, who left this world on April 12, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on March 6, 1959, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mary Ann lived a life centered around love, family, unwavering strength and God.
MaryAnn was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She had a heart that welcomed everyone and a spirit that made people feel seen, valued, and loved. Her laughter, wisdom, and kindness will forever echo in the lives she touched. She loved bingo and her bunco and owls.
She is survived by her loving children: Christy Davenport (Chris), Jennifer Albert (Randy), Tara Cowden (Seth), Terry Metzger (Cyne), and Norman Metzger (Bree). Each of her children was a source of immense pride and joy, and her love for them was endless.
MaryAnn also leaves behind her cherished 19 grandchildren, Kiley (Jake), MacKenzie , Danica, Brayden , Lincoln, Sawyer, Mariah, Frankie, Addisen, Terry III, Hailey , Conner, Russell, Elijah, Kristian, Dominic, Nathan, and Marissa and 5 great grandchildren Calliope, Alora, Leiara, Kayslee, and Bentley. Her brothers Jack, and Russell and sister DeDe. She was a beloved Aunty M to all her of her nieces and nephews,extended family, and dear friends, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John E. Halligan and Shirley Halligan, her grandson Dylan and her brother, Mike Halligan
MaryAnn’s legacy is one of unconditional love, resilience, and compassion. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
