Mary Catherine (Rebel) Brody

Age 74, on Friday, April 21, 2023. Beloved Wife of Alan Brody. Daughter of the late Howard and Catherine Rebel. Sister of Michael Rebel, the late Fr. John Rebel, Howard “Buddy” Rebel, Joseph Rebel and Timothy Rebel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mary graduated from Bishop Domenic High School, class of 1967. She worked for many years at Harbison Walker Refractories and also worked at PNC Bank and Northland Public Library. Mary was very family oriented. She enjoyed reading and taking care of her many cats over the years. Everyone who knew Mary, loved her kindness, compassion and all-around good nature. She always put others before herself.

Family will receive visitors Thursday, 3-7PM at O’Brien’s 3724 California at Cooper Aves., N.S. There will be a Funeral Mass Friday, 12PM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish-St. Teresa of Avila. Interment to follow at Margaretta Interfaith Cemetery.
