Kenneth Albert Jackson was born in Hammond, Indiana on February 9, 1939. His parents were Othel Kenneth Jackson, Jr. and Harriett Lawson Jackson of Hammond, Indiana. He has a sister, Penelope, and a brother, Dennis.
In January 1957 he joined the Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton, CA. He was honorably discharged in November 1959.
He began his college years upon discharge. He attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL and completed his BA at the University of Northern Iowa in January 1965.
In September 1963, he and Judith were married in Byron, MN. He leaves his beloved wife of 62 years and sons, Christopher, Michael (deceased), and Stephen.
He was a man of many interests. He had chickens, ducks, rabbits and several dogs. Amateur Radio (call sign NN3F), beekeeping, theology and computers, as well as gardening were among his pursuits. He was a faithful employee of US Steel for 32 years in Human Resources.
He hoped to be welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. One of his favorite Scriptures was “...none can keep alive his own soul.” Psalm 22:29.
Kenneth wished for a simple burial, with no visitation. He was buried on June 9, 2025, in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, in Bridgeville, PA.
