John J. Schwartzbauer

John J. Schwartzbauer, 79, passed away on October 10,2021. John (Jackie) is survived by his wife Sheila, son Eric J., Daughters Amanda (David) Troiano, Beth Ann, Mary Anne and Amy. Grandchildren Desmond, Madalynn, Hunter and Preston. Brothers Robert and Albert and many nieces and nephews. John was proceeded in death by 5 sisters and 1 brother. John was born and raised in Pittsburgh. he worked at the State Correctional institute of Pittsburgh were he retired after 27 years. John served as Military Police in the US Army. He was active in the American Legion Post 80 for many years. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play baseball and basketball. The family will receive visitors Thursday, 3-7PM at O’Brien’s 3724 California at Cooper Aves., N.S. where there will be a blessing service at 6:30PM. Interment will be held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 10AM.
