On Tuesday, December 1, 2020 after a long battle with cancer, Joanne passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. Beloved wife of the late James A. Standish. Loving mother of Judith A. Hanley and Jay A. (Carolyn) Standish. Proud grandmother of Kelly J. Hanley, Brooke and Chelsea Standish. Sister of Marilyn J. (William) Fontana. Survived also by many nieces and nephews. Family will receive visitors (masks required) Sunday 2-7 PM at O’Brien’s 3724 California at Cooper Aves., N.S. Funeral Mass in St. Cyril of Alexandria Monday 10:30AM. In lieu of flowers family suggest donations to Meals on Wheels America 1550 Crystal Dr. Suite 1004, Arlington, VA. 22202.
