James J. Abel of the North Side, passed away at the age of 64 on Monday, April 27, 2026. Beloved Son of Albert and Margaret (Turoplec) Bochter. Loving Husband of Donna M. (Deringer) Abel. Proud Father of Ryan Abel, Josh Abel and the late Carli Abel. Grandfather of Laela and Donovan. Brother of Ginny Ann (Andy) Kandrack, Jesse (Lesa) Abel and the late Missy Abel. James was also the Uncle to Sydnie and Great Uncle to Nadia. Family will receive visitorsThursday 3-7PM at O’Brien’s 3724 California Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15212. Prayer Service will take place at 6:45PM.
