Obituary

Age 87, surrounded with his family by his side on Friday, April 28, 2023. Beloved Husband of the late Corinne E. (Schlosky) Gerkey. Loving Father of Thomas Ray (Joann) Walker, Emil C. Gerkey Jr., Karen (Ralph Jr.) Danko and the late Debbie Walker. Grandfather of Jason (Christine) and Justin Danko. Great-Grandfather of Magdalyn Danko. Brother of Cleve (Pat) Gerkey, the late George Gerkey, Herman Gerkey, Albert Miles, and James Miles.

Emil was a proud Marine, devoted father, husband and all around family man.

There were no visitations, interment in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
