Dorothy F. Tkach (Rapp)
Age 90, of Carnegie, on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 Dorothy peacefully journeyed to her heavenly home. Beloved wife of the late Bernard V. Tkach. Loving Mother of Bernard Tkach Jr., Daniel Tkach and Susan Tkach-Boroch. Proud Grandmother of Alayna (Christopher) Bland, Ava Boroch and Michael Boroch. Sister of Cathrine (the late John) Brannon, and preceded in death by brother John Rapp and sister Susan Fuhs. Dorothy is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy had a passion for her family, art, cats, reading, her Croatian heritage and music. She was an accomplished artist and worked as a design draftswoman before starting a family. Dorothy worked as a photograph retouching artist while raising her children. Her hobbies were drawing, painting, playing the accordion and the piano. She also enjoyed creating stained glass and calligraphy and painting murals and canvas.
Dorothy was especially loved by all and had a contagious smile that never failed to light up a room.
