Charles (Chuck) Trimbur, passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 74, with his loving family by his side. Adored Father to Chad (Nicole), Tana (Brian) and Matt (Gerilen). Beloved “Pop” to Chad, Carina, Chloe, Lea, Kallie, Aiden, Charlie, Lily, Madison, Morgan and Grace. Loving brother of Judy Manganaro, Ann Booz, Jim (Donna) Trimbur and Chrissy (Mike) Horn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ann Trimbur and brother-in-laws Rich Booz and Mike Manganaro.
Chuck grew up on the Northside and graduated from Perry High School in 1967. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served from 1968-1971, spending 18 months in Vietnam. Chuck loved watching his kids play sports by being a devoted parent and fan and through his involvement as a member of both the St. Francis Xavier and Brighton Heights Athletic Association. “Mr. Chuck and Patty raised their family in the Brighton Heights and he enjoyed his career in environmental management.
Chucks love for sports and more importantly his family grew as his grandchildren began playing. “Pop” could always be found on the sidelines cheering them on with the biggest smile on his face. Chuck always enjoyed a day on the course, whether it was golfing with friends or family. One of his happiest places was the ocean, vacationing with his kids and grandkids. He also loved the many trips he and his brother and sisters experienced together. Family was at the heart of what made Chuck truly happy!
Friends and family will be received 3-7pm on Tuesday, June 6 at O’Brien Funeral Home. Funeral mass at St. Cyril of Alexandria on Wednesday, at 11:30am
