On Friday, November 24, 2023, at the young age of 70, Anthony R France III transitioned from this earthly plane to his new post in heaven as our family’s guardian angel. Beloved Son of the late Anthony R. and Doris Mae (Hewitt) France II. He is also preceded in death by his sister Claudia France and sister-in-law Joanne France.
He is survived by his loving children. His son Anthony Richard (Stephanie) France IV and daughter Jennifer Dawn France. Eldest sister Kerry (Barry) Burkholder and brother Michael France. Aunt Yvonne Donaubauer (France) along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. His legacy will continue through his grandkids Tristin Anthony, Lyric, Jordin, Angelica, Lacey and Anastasia.
Anthony was a Staff Sergeant who valiantly served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. A testament to duty and sacrifice, he walked a path bathed in the divine light of service.
He will be deeply missed by his family, extended family, close friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
There will be no visitation. Interment will be held on the morning of Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 10:00 am. His earthly remains shall find their eternal home on the sacred grounds of the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
